Silence is Golden, So He Made It Platinum

I so wanted to tell the world what was happening in my life that weekend, but my best friend sent me a message that simple said "shhh, silence is golden be platinum", and that's what I did. I let my daughters and my best friend know where and who I was with. I had initially posted a photo of the hotel view, but thought it best to remove it from Facebook. We were having a Staycation. Stay within the city but pretending we were out of state on a vacation. He had made all the arrangements, all I needed to do was find a babysitter for my dog and just show up. The babysitter fell through, so I had to make a Plan B, get my neighbor to watch my dog.

When I arrived at the first destination, I was a little shock to see only one bed. I had agreed to two beds. I didn't trust my high sexual nature which I have worked so hard at getting under control. I thought maybe I should leave, but I didn't. I showered, got in bed and was sleep before I could let my mind think. Our bodies never touched. If it wasn't for the sunshine, I probably would have slept longer. I woke up to see him on his phone reading something. I asked did he want something to eat and headed to the breakfast bar. We ate making small talk and plans for our next location.

We decided on a late check out and took a nap. Just up my alley because Saturday is my day of rest after I do my run mileage. I missed my run this weekend because I was enjoying my much needed rest. After our nap we got dressed and headed our separate ways. He had some errands to take care of, and I had my dog to check on. We would meet up later at our next destination. He called me later to inform me to head to the next hotel. I made some stop so we could have some snacks for the night.

As I walked into the hotel, I was greeted at the door by this man dressed in a very nice suit. He insisted on taking my bags and escorting me to our room. I wasn't sure what to think, but the guy informed me it was his responsibility to get me to our room safely. When we got to the door, I knocked, he answered. The guy in the suit said sir, I just wanted make sure she arrived safely and walked away before we could give him a tip.

When I walked into the room, he took everything I was carrying and led me to a chair, sat me down, moved the ottoman in front of me, took off my shoes and said relax, don't move. He walked away and came back with a glass of wine. He walked away again and returned with a bouquet of flowers. I was too out done. He said thanks for just be you and hanging with me this weekend, our Staycation.

After our meal, he ran me a bubble bath, I was feeling really spoiled. We sat and talked, he sipped on vodka, me sipping on wine. We had planned to go swimming but the pool was outside and the temperature had dropped. He suggested we walk around the bay. It was so romantic as we walked hand in hand, talking about stuff. We would make a great couple if we weren't buddies.

Back in the room, we got comfortable in our pajamas and sat looking out the window that had a view of the city night lights, beautiful. He was sipping on vodka, I was on bottle #2 of wine. Before long, I was technical and physically drunk. Something I didn't want because I know how I get when I'm drunk.

He suggested I lay down for a massage. My mistake. This massage was so tantalizing, I lost control and tried to get some, then I started crying because I felt I was drugged. I must have been really tripping because I remember him saying no stop, I'm a man, but this isn't happening. He also said if I didn't calm down, he was going to put me in a cold shower. I remember him saying let me hold you and kept saying calm down. I woke up the next morning without any clothes on, I panicked. He said don't worry, your good girl status is still intact. I got up to go shower and the next thing I know, he gets in the shower with me. I was like okay. He didn't try anything, I was still just his buddy.

We did another late checkout and took another nap. This time I woke to him staring at me, scared the crap out of me. He said I was moaning and talking in my sleep. We talked some more, then got dressed to leave. As we parted our ways, he kissed my lips and said I'll talk to you later. I was on cloud nine. I had been treated like a queen over weekend. Even with my hangover, I was in such a good mood, I cooked a big country meal. I cooked some much, I had to bring my coworkers some food.

Yep, my buddy made it platinum. The silence was golden but the moment was platinum.
